Summer News / July-August 2015

Thank you for a wonderful summer!
During the summer months, many of our sangha members travel with the Lama. Our Europe Center hosted an amazing course with almost 7000 of our closest friends from around the world. We received teachings and empowerments by the 17th Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje, and Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche, as well as teachings by Jigme Rinpoche and Lama Ole Nydahl. For more information about the summer course at Europe Center, visit www.europe-center.org/ec-blog.

What’s new?
The residents are here! Buddhist Center Heggedal now has residents in all the rooms, including our detached house outside! The family feeling is really growing with more meals and meditations together. Many friends from around the world are also coming for shorter retreats and warming up the place with their inspired minds. Although the house may be full, there is always room for friends. If you want to know more about what’s on in Heggedal, visit www.buddhistisksenter-heggedal.org.

Thank you Joan Paul!
Diamond Way Teacher Joan Paul Pozuelos (ES) gave teachings in our centers in Horten, Heggedal and Oslo. We were thankful to be able to talk about Lama Ole’s wishes for our centers in the future. Strengthening bonds through friendships has been and will continue to be the foundation for working together. And working together is our best protection. With greetings to the sangha in Grenada we send many good wishes for the new center. May you benefit all beings!
